Linda F. Aman is a lifelong resident of West Virginia and the author of “The Princess, the Pony, and the Puppy.” She was married for almost 50 years to a US Seabee Vietnam Veteran (deceased) and is the proud mother of three adult sons, all of whom are married. Linda is also the grandmother of eight grandchildren.
Linda retired after 31 years of service at the telephone company and was recognized with the Bell Atlantic Service Award in New York City for organizing telephones in Veteran Hospitals. Additionally, she served for 21 years as the Emeritus CWA Local President and has been actively involved in Veterans Organizations. In 2008, she served a term on the WV Higher Education Commission and was a member of the Board of Governors for Fairmont State College and a Charter Board of Governor member of Pierpont Community and Technical College in WV.
Linda is an active member of the Jane Lew Lions Club and has been a repeated volunteer for the Jane Lew First United Methodist Church Thursday Food Mission. Furthermore, she is a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Weston, WV.
Linda’s dedication to her community and her passion for writing children’s stories make her a beloved figure both locally and among her readers.
